Pastry Chef at a High-End Restaurant in La-Condamine, Monaco
We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in La-Condamine, Monaco. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about pastry and have a strong knowledge of traditional and modern techniques. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing dessert menus that complement our restaurant's cuisine and concept.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing new dessert recipes that meet the standards of our restaurant
- Preparing high-quality desserts in a timely manner for service
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies for the pastry department
- Training and supervising junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the pastry department
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and incorporating them into menu development
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of traditional and modern pastry techniques
- Creativity in designing unique desserts that showcase seasonal ingredients
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely delivery of desserts during service
- Degree or certification from a culinary school is preferred but not required
Salary: $1800/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: La-Condamine, Monaco (applicants from other countries are welcome to apply but must have the necessary work permits)
