Preservation Architect


We are currently hiring for a Preservation Architect to join our team in Copenhagen. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, while also ensuring they meet modern safety and building codes. This role requires a deep understanding of architectural history, as well as knowledge of current building materials and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough research on historical buildings and structures
- Developing preservation plans and strategies
- Collaborating with engineers and construction teams to ensure preservation work meets safety standards
- Supervising restoration projects from start to finish
- Communicating with clients and stakeholders about project progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Proven experience in preservation architecture (including internships or academic projects)
- Strong knowledge of architectural history, materials, and techniques
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
