Unity Developer

As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing interactive game experiences using the Unity game engine. You will work closely with the game design team to bring their ideas to life through coding, scripting, and debugging. Your role will also involve optimizing game performance, creating user interfaces, and implementing audio and visual effects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Unity development tools and techniques, as well as experience with C# programming language. A passion for gaming and a creative mindset are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement interactive games using the Unity game engine
- Collaborate with game designers to bring their ideas to life
- Code, script, and debug game mechanics and features
- Optimize game performance for various platforms
- Create user interfaces that enhance gameplay experience
- Integrate audio and visual effects into games
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Unity technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Unity development
- Proficient in C# programming language
- Experience with 3D graphics and animation
- Strong understanding of game design principles
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Passion for gaming and knowledge of current industry trends

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other programming languages such as Java or C++
- Familiarity with other game engines such as Unreal Engine or CryEngine
- Knowledge of virtual reality (VR) development
- Familiarity with Agile development methodology

Location: This position is based in Faroe Islands but open to candidates from all nationalities.

Salary: $1000 per month (with provided accommodation)
