Data Mining Analyst


As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting large amounts of data to identify patterns and trends that will provide valuable insights for our company. This position requires excellent analytical skills, as well as the ability to work with complex databases and statistical software. You will be working closely with various departments within the company to identify their data needs and provide actionable recommendations based on your findings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean and organize large datasets from various sources
- Use statistical methods to analyze data and identify trends and patterns
- Develop predictive models and algorithms to forecast future trends
- Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings effectively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide analytical support
- Continuously monitor data quality and make recommendations for improvements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data mining techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Data Mining Analyst or similar role
- Proficiency in statistical software such as R or Python
- Strong understanding of database management systems (SQL)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Location: Oslo (Candidate must have own visa)

Salary: $1300/month without accommodation
