Waiter/Waitress at Fine Dining Restaurant in Alta, Norway


We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic waiter/waitress to join our team at a high-end restaurant in the beautiful city of Alta, Norway. Our ideal candidate is a recent graduate with a passion for providing excellent customer service and creating a memorable dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Ensure that all orders are prepared to the highest standards
- Serve food and drinks promptly and courteously
- Monitor guest satisfaction and handle any complaints or concerns with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, floors, and restrooms
- Assist with setting up tables and preparing dining areas for service
- Handle cash transactions accurately and securely
- Follow all health and safety regulations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress is an asset but not required; training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1300 per month. Additional benefits include tips from guests, employee discounts on meals, opportunities for advancement within the company, as well as ongoing training and development.
