Waiter/Waitress at a Fine Dining Restaurant
Location: Alta, Norway (Preference for Norwegian or EU Nationals)



We are seeking a professional and experienced Waiter/Waitress to join our team at a fine dining restaurant in the beautiful city of Alta, Norway. As a waiter/waitress, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests while ensuring that their dining experience is of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and timely
- Make recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- Serve food and drinks to guests with attention to detail and presentation
- Ensure all tables are properly set up with utensils, condiments, and beverages
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any issues or concerns
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using POS system
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, including tables, chairs, floors, etc.
- Assist in opening and closing duties as required

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a waiter/waitress in a fine dining establishment
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (Norwegian language skills preferred)
- Strong knowledge of wine pairing and menu items
- Customer service oriented with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have own valid work visa for Norway
