Network and Systems Administrator

As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining the network and computer systems of our company in Horsens. Your main duties will include installing, configuring, and monitoring network equipment, ensuring security and data protection, troubleshooting network issues, and providing technical support to our employees. You will also be responsible for maintaining our servers, managing user accounts, and performing regular backups.

To excel in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in network administration or a similar field. A degree in computer science or a related field is preferred. You should have a strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and WLAN. Experience with network equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls is also required.

Proficiency in Windows Server and Active Directory is essential for this role. Familiarity with Linux operating systems and virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V) is a plus. Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS or Azure) is also desirable. You should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

This position requires strong communication skills as you will be working closely with other IT professionals and providing technical support to non-technical users. Time-management skills are also crucial as you will be expected to prioritize tasks efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
