Tiler (Contract) - Braga, Portugal



We are in search of an experienced Tiler to join our team on a contract basis in the beautiful city of Braga, Portugal. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tiles in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces according to specifications
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by removing old tiles, cleaning and leveling the area
- Cut and shape tiles using hand or power tools to fit around obstacles and create decorative patterns
- Mix and apply adhesives, grouts, and sealants to secure tiles in place
- Ensure proper alignment and spacing of tiles for a professional finish
- Repair any damaged or broken tiles as needed
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tiler
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Familiarity with various types of tile materials including ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, etc.
- Experience with tile cutting tools such as wet saws, tile cutters, etc.
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for precision and aesthetics
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials as needed
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients

Preferred:
- Previous experience working on both residential and commercial projects
- Knowledge of different tiling techniques such as mosaic patterns or herringbone layouts
- Experience working with different adhesives, grouts, and sealants

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this contract position.
