As a Part-Time Glazier in Oslo, Norway, you will be responsible for installing glass in windows, skylights, and other structures. Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass to fit specific dimensions
- Install glass panes into frames using putty or other materials
- Secure glass in place with clips or molding
- Remove old or broken glass and replace with new pieces
- Work with a variety of glass types, including tempered, laminated, and tinted
- Use tools such as cutters, grinders, and drills to shape and smooth glass edges
- Ensure all safety precautions are followed while working with glass
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide quality service
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a glazier preferred
- Familiarity with different types of glass and their uses
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical strength and stamina for lifting heavy pieces of glass
- Excellent hand-eye coordination for precise cutting and fitting
- Good communication skills for working with team members and clients
Salary:
The salary for this part-time position is $1500 per month.
