Interpreter/Translator (Entry Level)

Our company is seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our team as an Interpreter/Translator. Based in the beautiful city of Greenland, this role offers a unique opportunity for those seeking to gain experience in the language services industry. As an Interpreter/Translator, you will be responsible for accurately interpreting and translating spoken or written communication between English and the local language of Greenland. Your main duties will include providing real-time interpretation during meetings, conferences, or other events, as well as translating documents such as reports or legal documents.

The ideal candidate for this role is a fluent speaker of both English and the local language of Greenland (Danish), with excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail. While prior experience in interpretation or translation is preferred, we welcome candidates without experience who are willing to learn on the job.

As this is an entry-level position, we will provide training and support to help you develop your skills as an interpreter/translator. However, you must possess strong language proficiency in both English and Danish. A degree in translation or interpretation is also highly desirable.

In addition to strong language skills, we are looking for someone who is highly organized, able to work under pressure, and can adapt quickly to changing situations. As an interpreter/translator, you may be required to work flexible hours depending on the needs of our clients.
