Head Chef - Greenland


We are seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to join our team in Greenland. Responsibilities:
- Create and execute menu items using fresh, local ingredients
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
- Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and special event menus
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments as needed to meet budget goals
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and ingredients

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills to work with both staff and management
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays as needed
