Database Administrator

A well-established company in Copenhagen is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management, with experience in both SQL and NoSQL databases. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, integrity, and performance of our databases.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Develop and implement database policies and procedures to ensure data integrity
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning
- Optimize database queries for maximum performance
- Stay current on industry trends and new technologies related to database management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Strong understanding of database design principles and data structures
- Familiarity with data security best practices
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Certification in database administration (Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, etc.)

Salary: 1100$/month

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark
