Dietitian

A reputable healthcare organization in Greenland is seeking a qualified and experienced Dietitian to join our team. As a Dietitian, you will work closely with patients to assess their nutritional needs and develop personalized meal plans to promote healthy eating habits. This is a contract position with a salary of $1200 per month, without accommodation provided. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others improve their health through proper nutrition and can start immediately.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutritional assessments for patients
- Develop personalized meal plans based on patients' needs and dietary restrictions
- Educate patients on healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes
- Monitor patients' progress and make adjustments to meal plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients
- Stay updated on the latest research and guidelines in the field of nutrition
- Maintain accurate records of patient consultations and progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
- Proven experience as a Dietitian, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of nutrition principles, dietary guidelines, and food science
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
- Fluency in Greenlandic or Danish
