Preservation Architect
As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and protecting historical buildings and structures. Your main role will be to assess the condition of these buildings and develop plans for their restoration, renovation, or adaptation. You will work closely with a team of architects, engineers, and construction workers to ensure that the historical integrity of the building is maintained while also meeting modern safety and accessibility standards.
To be successful in this position, you must have a strong understanding of architectural principles, as well as knowledge of historical preservation techniques and materials. You should also have excellent project management skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and other professionals.
This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design or preservation work. A degree in architecture or a related field is preferred. Additionally, experience working with historical or heritage buildings is highly desirable.
As this position is located in Odense, Denmark, fluency in Danish is preferred but not required. Accommodation will be provided for the right candidate if necessary.
