As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the server-side components of our web applications. Your main focus will be to ensure high performance, responsiveness and scalability of our systems. You will also collaborate with the front-end development team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. This is a contract position in Braga, Portugal, offering a salary of 1600$ per month without accommodation. Candidates must have a biometric passport and this role is open to students as well.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement efficient and reliable server-side code
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments
- Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python or Node.js
- Experience with web frameworks like Spring Boot or Django
- Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
