Radio Technician

As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing radio communication equipment in various locations throughout Svalbard. Your duties will include troubleshooting technical issues, conducting routine maintenance and inspections, and ensuring that all equipment is in compliance with safety regulations. You will also be responsible for keeping accurate records of all work performed and ordering necessary supplies and parts. This is a contract position with a starting salary of $1500 per month.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of radio communication systems and equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
- Strong organizational skills and ability to keep accurate records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor as needed

Preference:
- Previous experience in radio technician role or related field
- Familiarity with Svalbard's geography and climate
