A software development company in Odense is seeking a skilled Contract Tester to join their team. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1600$ per month and includes accommodation. The ideal candidate will have experience in software testing and be able to work independently. A biometric passport is required for this position.

As a Contract Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software products through thorough testing and bug reporting. You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve any issues before product release.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on software products
- Create test cases and scripts based on product specifications
- Execute manual and automated tests as needed
- Document bugs and track their resolution
- Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- At least 2 years of experience in software testing
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques
- Knowledge of bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Biometric passport

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on contract assignments
- Familiarity with Agile methodology
- ISTQB certification
