Entry Level Instrument Technician

We are seeking an Entry Level Instrument Technician to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of various instruments and equipment used in the industrial setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, calibration and testing of instruments and control systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair any malfunctions or issues with instruments.
- Conduct routine maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning.
- Work closely with senior technicians to learn about different types of equipment and systems.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on site.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
- Must be physically fit as the job involves standing, kneeling, climbing and lifting heavy objects.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical degree or certification in instrumentation or related field.
- Previous experience working in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
