Junior Data Analyst



We are hiring a Junior Data Analyst to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to provide valuable insights for our company's operations.

Responsibilities:
- Collect data from various sources and ensure its accuracy and completeness
- Organize and maintain databases, ensuring efficiency and security of data
- Analyze large datasets using statistical methods to identify trends and patterns
- Interpret data and present findings through visualizations or written reports
- Collaborate with other team members to develop strategies based on data insights
- Continuously monitor data quality and resolve any issues that may arise
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data analytics techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets
- Proficiency in using statistical software such as R or Python
- Experience working with SQL databases is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present complex information to non-technical stakeholders
- Attention to detail with the ability to spot errors or inconsistencies in data
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
