Pastry Chef
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Randers, Denmark. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and breads for our restaurant. We are looking for someone who is passionate about pastry making and is able to consistently deliver high-quality and visually appealing products.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare various pastries, desserts, and breads according to established recipes
- Develop new recipes based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Ensure all pastries are presented in an attractive manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and place orders as needed
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff members
- Adhere to food safety standards at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Proficient in various pastry techniques including baking, decorating, and plating
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Fluent English language skills (Danish language skills preferred)
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
