Blast Furnace Operator


We are currently seeking a skilled Blast Furnace Operator to join our team at our steel production plant in Split. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring the blast furnace to ensure efficient and safe production of molten iron.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the blast furnace according to standard operating procedures
- Adjust temperature, pressure, and flow controls to maintain desired conditions
- Monitor equipment and make adjustments as needed to ensure smooth operation
- Identify and troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions or abnormalities
- Monitor raw materials levels and make adjustments as needed
- Sample molten iron for quality control purposes
- Maintain accurate production records and report any issues or concerns to management

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Blast Furnace Operator in a steel production plant is preferred
- Knowledge of blast furnace operations, equipment, and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Physical stamina to withstand working in a hot, industrial environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Salary:
$1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Working Hours:
Full-time, with some flexibility required for rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
