Entry-Level Tiler in Herzliya, Kenya



We are a reputable tiling company based in Herzliya, Kenya and we are seeking a talented and eager Tiler to join our team. As an Entry-Level Tiler, you will assist in the installation of various types of tiles in residential and commercial buildings. Responsibilities:
- Assist senior tilers in measuring and cutting tiles according to specifications
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, leveling, and removing old tiles
- Mix and apply adhesives, grout, sealants, and other materials as needed
- Lay tiles evenly and accurately using various techniques such as spreading adhesive or using tile spacers
- Ensure that all tiles are properly aligned, leveled, and sealed
- Cut tiles to fit around obstacles such as pipes or corners
- Clean up work area after completion of job
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in tiling is preferred but not required
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and measurements
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements and materials needed
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Kenyan nationality preferred but not required

Salary:
We offer a starting salary of 1100$ per month depending on experience.
