Concierge Assistant


As a Concierge Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assistance to guests visiting Funchal. This is a seasonal job with a salary of 1200$. Your main duty will be to ensure that all guest needs and requests are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, assist with check-in/check-out procedures, and provide necessary information on hotel facilities and services
- Offer personalized recommendations for dining, entertainment, and activities in the city based on guest preferences
- Make reservations for guests at restaurants, tours, transportation, or other services as requested
- Handle guest complaints or issues and work towards finding suitable solutions in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain a clean and organized lobby area by assisting with luggage storage and managing the flow of incoming/outgoing guests
- Assist with any administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, or handling guest inquiries

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Funchal's attractions, restaurants, and transportation options is an advantage
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
