Crane Operator



As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining cranes in a safe and efficient manner. You will work on various job sites in Bergen, ensuring that all lifting operations are performed according to industry standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes of various sizes and capacities to lift, move, and position materials and equipment
- Inspect crane before use to ensure it is in proper working condition
- Communicate with ground crew and other team members to coordinate lifting operations
- Determine appropriate rigging techniques for lifting different types of loads
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes, such as greasing, oiling, and replacing parts
- Keep accurate records of daily activities, including lift plans and safety checklists
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries on the job site

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a crane operator
- Valid biometric passport (or ability to obtain one)
- Strong knowledge of crane operations and rigging techniques
- Ability to read lift plans and understand load charts
- Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
