Senior Architect - Greenland


Our architecture firm in Greenland is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design and project management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading projects from concept to completion, working closely with clients and team members to ensure successful and innovative designs. This is a contract position with a salary of $1400 per month. Accommodation and visa sponsorship are not provided, so candidates must have their own visa and be able to work in Greenland. Students with relevant coursework or internships may also be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage architectural projects from initial concept to final construction
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, goals, and budget
- Develop design proposals, presentations, and drawings using AutoCAD or other relevant software
- Oversee the work of junior architects and designers on the team
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other consultants to ensure smooth project execution
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality of construction
- Stay updated on industry trends, codes, regulations, and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an architect, preferably in residential or commercial design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other architectural software
- Strong understanding of building materials, construction techniques, and structural systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with a team
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
