Radio Technician
As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio equipment used in communication systems. You will work with a team to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and meets quality standards. This role requires advanced technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and repair radio equipment such as transmitters, receivers, antennas, and control systems
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions
- Perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance of equipment
- Keep detailed records of all work performed and any upgrades or modifications made to equipment
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete projects within set deadlines
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in the field of radio technology
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Advanced knowledge of radio technology principles and components
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a team in various settings
Preferred qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field
- Experience working with different types of radio systems (e.g. analog, digital, microwave)
- Familiarity with relevant safety protocols and procedures
This position offers a competitive salary of $1200 per month in the vibrant city of Oslo. Accommodation will also be provided for the right candidate.
