We are hiring a Database Administrator to join our team in the beautiful city of Faroe Islands! As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's databases, ensuring their security, integrity, and performance. Your role will involve working closely with the IT team to design and implement database solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and make adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide solutions
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place
- Create and maintain database documentation
- Collaborate with IT team to design efficient database structures
- Perform data migrations and upgrades when necessary
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Previous experience as a Database Administrator preferred but not required
- Familiarity with database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
- Knowledge of data backup, recovery, and security procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this full time position. Visa sponsorship is available for non-Faroese citizens.
