Job Title: Contract Carpenter in Kolding, Denmark
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis in Kolding, Denmark. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. You must have at least 2 years of experience in carpentry and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and materials needed
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Cut, shape, and assemble wood pieces using hand tools or machinery
- Install structures such as windows, doors, cabinets, stairs, etc.
- Repair damaged or faulty structures by replacing or repairing parts using hand tools or power tools
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Carpenter
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical plans
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Attention to detail and accuracy when measuring and cutting materials
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, etc.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently
- Good communication skills in English (Danish is a plus)
Salary:
The salary for this contract position is 1100$ per month.
