Contract Fitter - Aarhus, Denmark


We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team on a contract basis in Aarhus, Denmark. As a Contract Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical components and systems according to blueprints and technical specifications. Your work will primarily focus on industrial machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine work procedures
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials such as metal, plastic, or wood
- Cut, shape, and fit materials using hand or power tools
- Assemble and install mechanical components such as bearings, gears, pipes, valves, belts, etc.
- Align and adjust machinery parts to ensure proper functioning
- Test completed installations for functionality and make necessary adjustments
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during installation or operation of machinery
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter in an industrial setting
- Technical degree or vocational training in mechanical engineering or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely
- Ability to read and use measuring tools accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must have own visa for working in Denmark

Salary: 1600$ per month
