Head Chef
As a Head Chef at our busy and successful restaurant in Aalborg, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations. We are seeking a skilled and experienced chef who can lead our team to continue providing high-quality meals to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain menus that are both creative and in line with our restaurant's concept
- Manage all kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet our standards at all times
- Oversee inventory and ordering of ingredients to maintain cost control
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service for guests
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a chef, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Proven ability to manage a team, mentor staff, and foster a positive work environment
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Salary: 1600$ per month
