Junior Android Developer


We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Android Developer to join our team in St. Petersburg. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. Your primary focus will be on the development of new features, bug fixing, and improving application performance. You should have a strong understanding of Android development and be familiar with popular design patterns such as MVP or MVVM. This is an entry-level position, making it a great opportunity for recent graduates or those looking to kickstart their career in Android development.

Salary: $1500 per month

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Strong understanding of OOP principles and design patterns
- Experience with Android SDK and third-party libraries
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
- Knowledge of software testing principles and tools such as JUnit or Espresso
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)

Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for mobile applications
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure application reliability, stability, and performance
- Collaborate with designers to implement user-friendly interfaces that meet design guidelines
- Stay updated on emerging technologies within the mobile development industry
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards
