Preservation Architect

We are a prestigious architectural firm based in Jerusalem, seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring their cultural and historical significance is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting research on the history and significance of buildings and structures
- Developing preservation plans that adhere to local laws and regulations
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to execute preservation projects
- Inspecting sites and evaluating the condition of historic buildings
- Identifying potential risks or damages to historic structures and implementing preventive measures
- Creating detailed documentation of restoration processes for future reference

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Preservation Architect
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other architectural software
- Strong understanding of historic preservation principles and techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English (Hebrew proficiency is a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month, with potential for growth based on performance. We also provide health insurance benefits for our employees.

Our firm is located in the beautiful city of Jerusalem. However, we welcome applicants from all nationalities who are willing to relocate for this full-time position.
