Caregiver for Elderly in Porto (Contract)


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to provide support for elderly individuals in Porto. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, providing emotional and physical support, and promoting independence and quality of life for our clients. This is a contract position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions
- Administer medications as prescribed by physician
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Monitor changes in health or behavior and report to appropriate medical professionals
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
- Keep accurate records of care provided

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a caregiver or similar role
- Valid work visa or citizenship in Portugal (own visa jobs may be considered)
- Ability to communicate effectively in Portuguese (English proficiency is an asset)
- Empathy, patience, and compassion towards elderly individuals
- Physical ability to assist with lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time
