Preservation Architect


We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Preservation Architect to join our team in Herning, Denmark. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month, along with accommodation provided and assistance in obtaining your own visa.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on the historical significance of buildings and structures.
- Develop preservation plans and strategies based on research findings.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure preservation methods are implemented correctly.
- Oversee restoration projects and ensure they meet preservation standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess the condition of historical buildings and structures.
- Create detailed reports on the condition of buildings and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to preservation architecture.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in preservation architecture.
- Extensive knowledge of historical architecture styles, materials, and construction methods.
- Strong project management skills and ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, and government agencies.
- Ability to conduct thorough research and analyze data related to historical buildings.
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure preservation standards are met.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on international preservation projects is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of Danish building codes, regulations, and cultural heritage guidelines is a plus.
