The Roskilde Public Library is seeking a qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to library patrons, organizing and managing library resources, and promoting literacy and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist library patrons in finding information and resources
- Manage circulation of materials, including checking in and out books
- Catalogue new materials and maintain accurate records
- Plan and implement library programs for all ages
- Promote literacy through outreach programs and events
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop collections and services
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in literature, technology, and education

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with cataloguing systems and reference resources
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Passion for literacy and promoting learning in the community

Salary:
This is a full time position with a salary of $900 per month. Accommodation can be provided for non-local candidates.

Location:
This position is located at the Roskilde Public Library in the city of Roskilde, Denmark.
