Land Surveyor
We are searching for a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team in Porto. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys to determine property boundaries, create maps, and collect data for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in using surveying equipment and software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. This is a full-time position with a salary of 900$. Please note that this position does not offer accommodation and candidates must have their own visa.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using traditional and modern surveying methods
- Use surveying equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and laser scanners
- Create detailed maps and drawings based on collected data
- Measure distances, angles, elevations, and other important data points
- Analyze data collected from surveys to ensure accuracy and make any necessary adjustments
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and address any concerns
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals on construction projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Geomatics Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Land Surveyor
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software (e.g. AutoCAD)
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
- Physical stamina to work outdoors for extended periods of time
Preferred:
- Professional licensure as a Land Surveyor (depending on state/country)
- Experience in construction industry or land development projects
