Part-Time Typesetter in Faroe Islands


We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team on a part-time basis in Faroe Islands. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for arranging and formatting text and images for print or digital media. This is an ideal opportunity for someone without prior experience in typesetting, as on-the-job training will be provided. The salary for this position is $1800 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to determine layout and design of materials
- Select appropriate fonts and formatting styles to enhance readability of content
- Use software and tools to arrange text and images in a visually appealing manner
- Proofread materials to ensure accuracy of content, spelling, and grammar
- Make necessary adjustments to meet design specifications and client requirements
- Stay updated on industry trends and new software/tools for typesetting

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or education in typesetting is preferred
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Good communication skills to effectively work with colleagues from different departments
- Must be able to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
