Plasterboard Worker


We are currently seeking a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Aarhus. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and finishing plasterboard on various construction projects. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting plasterboard to fit specific spaces, securing it to walls and ceilings, and applying joint compound to create a smooth finish. You may also be required to repair or replace damaged plasterboard.

To be successful in this position, you should have a strong background in construction and at least 2 years of experience working with plasterboard. A high level of physical fitness is also necessary as the job requires lifting and carrying heavy materials. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are also important qualities for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install plasterboard according to blueprints or instructions
- Secure plasterboard using screws or adhesives
- Apply joint compound to seams and corners to create a smooth surface
- Sand rough areas and apply additional coats of compound as needed
- Repair or replace damaged plasterboard as necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate with contractors and other team members as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with plasterboard in a construction setting
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials on a daily basis
- Attention to detail with a focus on creating high quality finishes
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet project deadlines
