Locksmith Technician

As a Locksmith Technician, you will be responsible for providing professional locksmith services to clients in the city of Fonvieille. Your main duties will include installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of locks, as well as assisting clients with lockouts and other emergency situations. You must have strong technical skills and knowledge of different types of locks and security systems. Excellent customer service and communication skills are also essential for this role. This is a full-time position with a salary of 900$ per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain locks in residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Perform lockouts and rekeying services.
- Cut duplicate or new keys.
- Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning locks.
- Conduct security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Advise clients on the best locking systems for their specific needs.
- Keep records of all services provided and products used.
- Maintain inventory levels of necessary tools and supplies.
- Stay updated on latest locksmith techniques and technologies.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a locksmith preferred.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of different types of locks and security systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be physically able to perform required duties (lifting heavy objects, working in small spaces).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Skills:
While not required, the following skills would be considered an asset:
- Experience using key cutting machines
- Knowledge of electronic locking systems
- Familiarity with carpentry or metalworking tools

Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is required for this role. Knowledge of French would be considered an asset.

Location: This position is based in Fonvieille, but occasional travel to nearby cities may be required for emergency services.
