Web Developer (Faroe-Islands)


We are seeking a skilled and innovative Web Developer to join our team in the beautiful Faroe-Islands. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining visually appealing and functional websites for our company and clients. Your main duties will include designing, coding, testing, and debugging website features, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless user experience.

To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of web development principles and techniques, as well as proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages. Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal is also preferred. Additionally, being detail-oriented and having excellent troubleshooting skills are essential for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Designing engaging website layouts and features that align with our company's brand image
- Writing efficient code using various programming languages to create functional websites
- Collaborating with designers and content creators to ensure an attractive and user-friendly interface
- Conducting regular website maintenance tasks such as updating content and fixing bugs
- Troubleshooting issues reported by clients or users to ensure optimal website performance
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in web development techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven work experience as a Web Developer or similar role
- Strong understanding of web development principles such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
- Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal is preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in the beautiful Faroe Islands. However, we welcome candidates from all nationalities who are willing to relocate.
