Network and Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team in Aarhus. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's network and computer systems. This includes installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network hardware, software, and peripherals. You will also be responsible for monitoring network performance, implementing security measures, and ensuring data backup procedures are in place. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and hardware components. Additionally, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls.
- Set up user accounts and permissions on the network.
- Monitor network performance to ensure smooth operation.
- Troubleshoot network issues as they arise.
- Maintain data backup procedures to ensure data security.
- Implement security measures to protect against cyber threats.
- Upgrade network systems as needed.
- Provide technical support to employees regarding network issues.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in networking technology.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP) and operating systems (Windows Server).
- Strong understanding of hardware components such as servers, routers, switches.
- Proficient in configuring firewalls and other security measures.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-tech individuals.

Salary: 1300$ per month

Location: Aarhus

Employment Type: Contract

Note: Preference will be given to candidates who already have a valid visa or are eligible for work-study programs.
