Back-End Web Developer

As a Back-End Web Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the server-side logic of our web applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic. Your main focus will be developing and optimizing application functionality, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for implementing security and data protection measures. This role requires a strong understanding of web development principles, server-side languages such as Python or Java, and experience working with databases. A keen eye for detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also essential for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side logic for web applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration of user-facing elements
- Optimize application functionality for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise in production environments
- Write clean, efficient code that adheres to industry standards
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong understanding of web development principles (HTTP protocol, RESTful APIs)
- Proficiency in at least one server-side programming language (Python, Java, etc.)
- Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (HTML, CSS) is a plus
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines

Salary: $900 per month

Location: Kolding, Denmark
