Instrument Technician



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Almada. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial settings. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with a variety of instruments such as sensors, transmitters, controllers, and valves. This role also requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair various types of instruments and control systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with equipment or systems
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to identify problems and develop solutions
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of instruments
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities
- Order necessary parts for repairs or replacements
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations

Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Instrumentation Technology or a related field
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation such as sensors, transmitters, controllers, valves, etc.
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting equipment malfunctions
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package starting at $1500 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Almada. Candidates from Portugal or those willing to relocate are preferred.
