Instrument Technician - Almada, Portugal (Contract)

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and equipment used in industrial processes. This is a contract position with the potential for permanent employment.

Responsibilities:
- Install new instruments and equipment according to specifications
- Inspect and test instruments and equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and equipment
- Repair or replace faulty components or parts as needed
- Conduct routine maintenance on instruments and equipment to prevent breakdowns
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy of readings
- Keep detailed records of work performed, including maintenance schedules and repairs
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve instrument performance

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Experience working with a variety of instrumentation such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, etc.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.

Location:
This job is located in Almada, Portugal. Applicants must have their own visa or be eligible to work in Portugal.
