Moderator for Online Forum (Svalbard)


Are you a natural mediator and skilled at facilitating online discussions? Do you have an interest in global issues and a desire to foster respectful dialogue? We are seeking a Moderator for our online forum based in Svalbard. As the moderator, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and engaging environment for our community of users from all over the world. This position includes accommodation and is suitable for men who are able to obtain their own visa.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor forum activity and ensure all content follows community guidelines
- Facilitate discussions and guide users towards respectful communication
- Engage with users and provide support when needed
- Collaborate with other moderators to address any issues or concerns
- Stay up-to-date on current events and global topics to facilitate meaningful discussions

Requirements:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of global issues and ability to remain neutral in discussions
- Previous experience moderating online forums or managing online communities preferred
- Comfortable working independently and handling difficult situations calmly
- Fluency in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
