Mason
As a Mason in our busy construction company in Aarhus, we are seeking an experienced individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Our ideal candidate will possess a biometric passport and have at least 3 years of experience in the masonry profession.
In this role, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures made of brick, stone, concrete blocks or other materials. You will also be required to read and interpret blueprints, calculate dimensions and mix mortar to create a strong bond between bricks.
To excel in this position, you must have excellent hand-eye coordination, physical strength and stamina. You should also be comfortable working at heights and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks or other masonry units in building walls according to blueprints
- Cut or trim bricks using hammers or chisels
- Mix mortar according to specifications
- Use hand tools such as trowels, levels, and plumb lines to ensure accuracy
- Repair or replace damaged bricks or other materials
- Install fireplaces, chimneys, arches, and other decorative elements
Requirements:
- Biometric passport is mandatory
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mason
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical strength
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Proficient in using hand tools such as trowels, levels, and plumb lines
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per month. You will be required to work Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm with occasional overtime on weekends. Our company offers competitive benefits including health insurance, paid time off and opportunities for career advancement.
