Head Chef for Fine Dining Restaurant



We are searching for a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our prestigious fine dining restaurant located in Horsens, Denmark. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and supervision of kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and meet the restaurant's high standards
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented according to our restaurant's guidelines
- Manage kitchen inventory and ensure that all necessary ingredients and supplies are always available
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques, safety procedures,and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with the management team to create new menu items and special event menus
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Monitor food costs and work closely with suppliers to maintain quality while keeping expenses within budget

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment,and procedures
- Ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and best practices
- Attention to detail with an eye for presentation
- Fluent in English (Danish language skills preferred)
