Preservation Architect (Part-time, with accommodation)

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in Khanpur. Your main duties will include conducting site surveys, preparing reports and proposals, and overseeing the restoration process. You must have a strong understanding of architectural history and techniques, as well as excellent project management skills. This position is part-time with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys to assess the condition of historic buildings and structures
- Develop restoration plans, including cost estimates and timelines
- Prepare reports and proposals for clients or funding agencies
- Oversee the restoration process to ensure adherence to plans and standards
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals involved in the restoration process
- Research architectural history and techniques relevant to each project
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in preservation architecture
- Strong knowledge of architectural history and techniques related to preservation
- Excellent project management skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred:
- Experience working on preservation projects in Khanpur or Pakistan
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
