Position Summary:
We are currently hiring a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Almada, Portugal. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry and woodworking, with an eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality structures. This is a contract position with a salary of 1400$, without accommodation, and with visa sponsorship available.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine materials required and dimensions of structure
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- Install structures such as windows, doors, stairs, cabinets, etc.
- Inspect structures to ensure they meet building codes and specifications
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts using hand tools or power tools
- Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience in carpentry or woodworking
- Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Experience working with hand tools and power tools

Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Trade certification or apprenticeship in carpentry or related field
- Experience working on residential projects
- Knowledge of Portuguese language
