Crane Operator

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy objects. You will also be responsible for ensuring the safety of the crane and its surroundings, as well as following all relevant safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy objects
- Conduct pre-operational checks on the crane to ensure it is functioning properly
- Follow all relevant safety regulations and procedures while operating the crane
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust crane operations accordingly
- Communicate with ground crew and signalers to safely maneuver the crane
- Perform routine maintenance on the crane to keep it in good working condition
- Keep accurate records of daily activities, including maintenance logs and incident reports

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid certification or license for operating cranes (e.g. CCO certification)
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities
- Ability to read and interpret load charts and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Experience with biometric passports preferred but not required

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per week for this contract position. Accommodation will also be provided for the duration of the contract.

Contract Type:
This is a contract position with an immediate start date. The duration of the contract will depend on project needs.
